Our winter retreat will be a local Disciple Now weekend in Raleigh! Everyone will stay in host homes of church members and we will have other activities (small groups, missions, worship, games, etc.) at the church and around Raleigh. 

Our retreat theme is Compassion From the Inside Out. Sometimes in the bustle and energy that comes with making a difference, it can be easy for all of us to focus on action and forget that compassion calls us to interaction—with God and with those who are struggling in the world around us. Yet compassion and prayer go hand in hand: the process of growing in Christlike compassion is nurtured through reflection and listening—both to God’s word and to the experiences of those around us. In this retreat, our youth leaders and students alike will look at how Jesus modeled a life of compassion, share our own stories of giving and receiving compassion, and grow closer as a prayer-filled, compassionate community.

All youth 6th-12th are invited, including friends who aren’t church members. Please sign up and make your payment by January 31.
