We have two Sunday morning worship services 8:45 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Plan to arrive 10 minutes prior to the beginning of the service.
We hope you’ll feel at home at Greystone. Our greeters are eager to answer any questions and give directions. Please enter by the Sawmill Road entrance where you’ll find information about various Sunday School classes, maps, and the entrance to the sanctuary.
Dress comfortably. On a given Sunday, you will see a wide range of attire, from jeans to suits and dresses. Don’t worry about what you wear – just come prepared for a wonderful time of worship and fellowship.
What to Bring
Bring your fears, your doubts, your joys, and your sorrows. Also, bring an openness to find new friends, to strengthen your faith, and to be challenged in your understanding of the Christian life and all that means in a changing world!
See our Worship at Greystone page for more detailed information.
Our Sunday morning Bible Study (all ages) is held at 9:45 a.m. There is a place for study for everyone from the youngest to the oldest and everyone in between. For new and prospective members, we offer an Orientation class that meets every Sunday (except 5th Sundays) in our Media Center (Building D).
For a list of Adult Sunday School classes and descriptions, see our Adult Sunday School Classes page.
We also have a time of study and fellowship each Wednesday night from September to May. Learn more about our Wednesday Night Live programs here.
Greystone values intergenerational worship and children of all ages are welcome in any of our worship services. However, we also offer child care for babies to 5 year olds in the the preschool wing. Child care for babies is also offered during Sunday Bible Study.
Sunday School for Preschool and Elementary-age Children
Sunday Bible Study classes (9:45 a.m.) for Toddlers through age 5 are located in the Preschool Wing. Elementary School age children attend Sunday School classes located in the lower level of the West Wing (Building F).
Youth & College Sunday School
Students in Middle and High School and College meet for a time of fellowship in Building E (upstairs classroom) at 9:45 a.m. At 10 a.m., students divide into Sunday School classes:
Middle School students meet in Building E (upstairs)
High School students meet in Building E (basement Youth Room)
College-Age students meet in Building E (upstairs) (Meets only during Summer and Winter breaks)
Each Sunday our worship leader extends an invitation for newcomers to come forward during the singing of the final hymn and be presented to the Church for membership. We welcome new members in one of the following ways:
- By profession of faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord and subsequent baptism
- By transfer of current membership from another Baptist church
- By reaffirmation of Christian experience and transfer of membership from a church of another denomination.
* Exceptions will be considered by the pastor and church diaconate to be approved in church conference
Our pastor or staff would be pleased to meet with anyone interested in joining our church family.
